Saginaw Valley State University students performed in a December production of "Miracle on 34th Street: A 1940s Radio Play."
The play, shown December 4-5, recreateed a live 1940s-era radio broadcast of the story made popular by the 1947 movie adaptation starring Natalie Wood.

SVSU residential life student leaders nab regional awards
Fifteen Saginaw Valley State University residential life student leaders received two awards while representing SVSU at the 2013 Great Lakes Association of College and University Residence Halls Conference.
The group attended leadership development sessions and networked with peers from Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin and Ontario. Michigan State University hosted the conference November 22-24.

Cass City Native, SVSU grad earns law school scholarship
Saginaw Valley State University graduate Emily Sullivan will attend Wayne State University Law School on an academic scholarship that covers full tuition. The Cass City native, a political science and criminal justice double major at SVSU, begins there this fall.
"I am excited and slightly nervous, but I feel very well prepared by the education I received at SVSU," she said.
