Standish Native Jason Kandal 's Work Showcased in SVSU Mechanical Engineering Event

Saginaw Valley State University will host its annual mechanical engineering summer showcase this week. Jason Kandal from Standish will be featured in the showcase. The senior was on a team that worked on the Duro-Last Hailstorm Simulator. The Duro-Last Hailstorm Simulator was designed for Duro-Last Roofing, which has a need to test their roofing material in a simulated hailstorm.

Working prototypes of senior projects will be on display at the event Friday, Aug. 16 from 10 a.m. to noon in SVSU's Pioneer Hall.
