Saginaw Valley State University welcomed new members into its chapter of Sigma Delta Pi, the Spanish Honorary Society; Saginaw native among inductees

Saginaw Valley State University welcomed new members into its chapter of Sigma Delta Pi, the Spanish Honorary Society.

Student Tere Elizalde, a Saginaw native who is enrolled in the International Studies program, is among the new members.

SVSU alumna and adjunct instructor of modern foreign language and alumna Annamaria Lowrie also was inducted as an honorary member during the initiation ceremony on Friday, March 24 in SVSU's Founder's Hall.

Sigma Delta Pi is a Spanish Honor Society that recognizes and supports students and educators of Spanish language and culture.
