Saginaw Native Stephany Castignola's Work Showcased in SVSU Mechanical Engineering Event

Saginaw Valley State University will host its annual mechanical engineering summer showcase this week. Stephany Castignola from Saginaw will be featured in the showcase. The senior was on a team that worked on the Duro-Last Roofing EMAS Sealing System. The Duro-Last Roofing EMAS Sealing System was built for Duro-Last Roofing, which has a need to develop a system to seal EMAS arrestor beds at airport runways.

Working prototypes of senior projects will be on display at the event Friday, Aug. 16 from 10 a.m. to noon in SVSU's Pioneer Hall.
