2014 Oct 28

Tyler Bradley, of Croswell, was among 11 Saginaw Valley State University students to receive scholarships from the SVSU Faculty Association.

Bradley, a graphic design major, received the Faculty Association Endowed Scholarship.

Bradley was recognized during the 29th Annual Faculty Association Awards Banquet Friday, Oct. 17.

The ceremony also honored three SVSU faculty members who received Faculty Association awards.

Amy Pierce, associate professor of communication, received the Faculty Association Service Award, given to a faculty member who contributes in numerous ways to their department. Sara Beth Keough, associate professor of geography, received the Faculty Association Scholarship Award, given to a faculty member who shows diligence in their work. Ervin Sparapani, professor of teacher education, received the Faculty Association Mentor Award, given to a faculty member who provides guidance to junior faculty.
