SVSU student Daniel Weller, of Fenton, presents research on chemistry at statewide conference

Saginaw Valley State University student Daniel Weller, a Fenton native, presented research on chemistry at the 2014 Michigan Academy of Science, Arts and Letters annual conference.

Weller, a chemical physics major, presented in front of 700 conference attendees Feb. 28 at Oakland University.

Weller was joined by 20 SVSU classmates and 10 faculty members from the university.

Yearly, the academy conference hosts academics discussing research on a wide range of subjects including English, ecology, psychology, zoology, chemistry and law.

Next year's conference is scheduled March 13 at Andrews University in Berrien Springs.
