Roscommon Native Trevor Haight's Work Showcased in SVSU Mechanical Engineering Event

Saginaw Valley State University will host its annual mechanical engineering summer showcase this week. Trevor Haight from Roscommon will be featured in the showcase. The senior was on a team that worked on the DHP Composites Two-Element Racecar Wing Optimization For Lift And Drag. The DHP Composites Two-Element Racecar Wing Optimization For Lift And Drag was built for DHP Composites, a local manufacturer of performance racing automotive accessories, to optimize its rear wing for race cars.

Working prototypes of senior projects will be on display at the event Friday, Aug. 16 from 10 a.m. to noon in SVSU's Pioneer Hall.
