Daniel Sanger Presented an Abstract at the 2013 Athletic Trainers' Annual Symposium

Daniel Sanger, an athletic traning major from Sterling Heights, Mich. presented, “A Descriptive Analysis of Emergency Planning for Traumatic and Medical Events in Michigan’s Great Lakes Bay Region Ice Arenas”.

Several students from Saginaw Valley State University were invited to present their abstracts at the 2013 Great Lakes Athletic Trainers' Association Annual Meeting and Symposium. The symposium took place March 13 -15 in Wheeling, Ill.

Only a handful of college students receive an opportunity like this each year. Students are chosen to present an abstract at the GLATA symposium.

David C. Berry, John Lowry, and Kay Castillo attended the symposium with the students to help with the presentations.
