D'Onna Cameron, of Warren, selected to 2016 SVSU Homecoming Court

D'Onna Cameron, of Warren, was elected as a member of SVSU's 2016 Homecoming Court.

Cameron, a management major, was honored along with nine other students on the court.

SVSU students cast their votes to select the court, king and queen leading up to SVSU's Homecoming Week celebration, which concluded with the Oct. 8 SVSU football game versus Northern Michigan University at Harvey Randall Wickes Memorial Stadium. The Homecoming king and queen were announced at halftime of the game, which SVSU won, 41-13.

The 2016 Homecoming Court included D'Onna Cameron, Haley Gouine, Laura Gray, Rebecca "Becks" Meredith and Melissa Whitford, as well as Sean V. Gilmore, Michael Hensley, Shane R. McClure, Timothy Nelson and Jason Pelletier. Gilmore and Gray were crowned Homecoming king and queen, respectively.
