Cassidy Morey to Perform in SVSU's Production of "Death of a Salesman"

2013 Apr 5

Cassidy Morey will be performing in the play "Death of a Salesman" on April 10-14. The play will be performed to the public at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 10 through Saturday, April 13, and Sunday, April 14 at 3 p.m. in the Malcolm Field Theatre for Performing Arts.

This play is a great example of "Classic American Theatre". It is the story of a man with illusions of grandeur without the skill and resources to make those illusions come true. This idea haunts the stage, not only in America but around the world. The play focuses on father-son relationships. It also focuses on the inability to realize The American Dream.

The author of the play is Arthur Miller and it will be directed by Steven C. Erickson. It is intended for all ages.
