Bay City Native Kyle Knox 's Work Showcased in SVSU Mechanical Engineering Event

Saginaw Valley State University will host its annual mechanical engineering summer showcase this week. Kyle Knox from Bay City will be featured in the showcase. The senior was on a team that worked on the Allen Fishing Reel. The Allen Fishing Reel will be used by a local entrepreneur, Jay Allen, who wanted to demonstrate a patented gear train in a fishing reel application.

Working prototypes of senior projects will be on display at the event Friday, Aug. 16 from 10 a.m. to noon in SVSU's Pioneer Hall.
